We are in an elevated and quiet part of the city Baden-Baden. The apartment/studio is in the historical „Bergschloss“, which was originally built as a park hotel in 1910.

From the house-owned tower you will have open view over the city, the “Batterrock” and the mountain Mercury. This place is ideal for 2 persons, who enjoy relaxing in a quiet area, and hiking at the foothills of the Schwarzwald. And yet, the centre of the thermal spa resort Baden-Baden with all its comfortable and attractive amenities is in short walking distance. Starting at the doorstep, extensive hiking tours through the closeby countryside with meadows, forests and soft hills of the nearby Schwarzwald are inviting. The famous mountain „Mercury“ you can climb by foot or take the cablecar. In any case, you will be rewarded with a wonderful view in all directions, to the South on Baden-Baden and to the North on Karlsruhe. By foot or with the bus it takes about 10 min. to arrive at the two town’s thermal baths, the modern Caracalla Spa and the historic Roman-Irish „Friedrichsbad“, the centre of the city and the elegant and stylish shopping area „Lichtentaler Allee“. Baden-Baden has it all to be a famous modern cultural city and health spa resort; the „Festspielhaus“, Europe’s second largest opera and concert hall, artmuseums, philharmonic orchestra, casino…. the city captivates by its natural beauty and harmony. Even the Romans already knew about the soothing power of the city’s thermal water. Carpe diem  – seize the day and enjoy it!

This very stylish and comfortable apartment is on upper floor, and the big windows make you feel close to the sky. The rooms are very bright and with high ceiling. In all rooms you will find antique wooden floors. The whole apartment is newly renovated. It consists of a combined bedroom/living room with a double bed (180x200cm) and a kitchen/living room where you can cook and eat as well as enjoy the warmth of a cozy « Schwedenoven-fireplace ».In the kitchen/living room there is a comfortable corner sofa, which can be pulled out into a sofabed for 2 people. In  the big and bright bathroom you have a shower and a bathtub. In the bathroom there’s a combined washmachine and dryer.

Public  transportation

2 buses are stopping right in front of the house: 204 and 205. Both will bring you right into the center of town. With no. 205 you can also reach the Festspielhaus, the train station and the Euro-Airport Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden.  Free public parking areas are alongside the surrounding roads.

On location, the keyholder who opens the apartment for you and is handing over the key, will explain everything to you. Please read the contract and the terms of contract diligently. And please observe the rules of the house, which are placed on the table inside the apartment.  The address and the password for the internet access are written on the lightswitch in the entry hall.
